I must say, today is going to be such a wonderful day. It’s my 56th birthday and I have just been having the time of my life. I started my day with a nice hot shower, jumped out, and got dressed and then did my hair. I ran out the front door quickly after like I usually do.
I had plans to take myself out for a $5.39 McBreakfast, and I will add that it was the right idea. I think right now, it’s kind of trendy to get a side hustle going. So I always go prepare. Prepared with a stack of white paper and my two Sharpie extra fine black markers. Just to sit, drink McCoffee and have my McMuffins.
I planned on the common sense approach to building an online side hustle. It’s going to involve social selling. So now that I told you my secret, we can start to talk about putting people first, always. I’m thinking here, we should put people before business, and of course, before making money. I didn’t always know this for myself until my older years.
So I wrote a blog post about my father, and how now I am really starting to appreciate seeing him and appreciate spending time with him. Then I think of my phone conversations with my sister and our out of state visits. Not to mention going on vacations with the family. Then my brother, who I worship. I will be forever grateful for working with him in his business. All of our lunches, not to mention family dinners and holidays that we spent together.
Sadly, our mother passes in 2016. We lived together for many years, simply because it was the right thing to do. And yes, I still get teary-eyed when I think about her, and how she was the most patient, caring woman I knew.
My Spiritual Teacher says “….it’s the people in your life.”
And she’s right. Just as she always is, and I have to say I have more and more people in my life that I am so grateful for. I will extend these words to Marianne and simply say thank you. I do appreciate my family and all of my friends, and I will add that I am truly blessed.
So this article and the information that I am sharing isn’t just my own, I’m just carrying the message. And know this today and always. Love your family, value your friends, always appreciate people from all cultures and from all walks of life.
You’ll be so glad that you did.
As it’s others that we learn from and grow from. We all must know that these are the people that help us build character. Not to mention add value to the moral fiber of who we are. Ever growing and changing.
So do make time for others in your life. This is what adds to much value to your time here spent on earth. It’s all of our time with people. Including family and all of our friends.
